How FindMyChip Works
We act as a secure bridge between the person searching and the companies that hold the registration data. When you enter a chip or tag number into our search bar, our system securely pings our partner databases simultaneously.
If the identifier is found on one of their systems, we display the safe, public-facing results — showing you exactly which database holds the pet's records and providing you with the contact details to facilitate a reunion.
FindMyChip does not register pet tags or microchips. If you need to register a
new pet, update your address, or transfer ownership, you must do so directly
with one of the official database suppliers.
